New Hire: Michele Sainte-Starbuck, Senior Laboratory Planner
SABArchitects recently hired Michele Sainte-Starbuck as a Senior Lab Planner. Michele holds a Bachelor of Architecture from WSU and has over 37 years of experience. With a deep background in fine art, and graphic and spatial design, Michele appreciates the art of science. She believes that the facilities we build for the brightest science minds of today “must evolve as robust, adaptable and inspirational canvases for tomorrow.” As a Laboratory Planner and Architect, Michele is passionate about the functionality of science-clients’ environments. Her work has focused on laboratory projects of varying types and sizes, on both east and west coasts of the U.S. As an advocate for multidisciplinary design collaboration, her approach is to orchestrate clientele, user groups, consultant teams, and contractors toward a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. At SABA, Michele will bolster a thriving life science team, providing mentorship and project leadership, allowing us to support a rapidly growing life science community in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
