SABA Promotes Associate Principals

SABArchitects promoted Kate Vincent, Laura Taylor, and Shaun Danielson to Associate Principal. They are the first three Associate Principals at SABA, joining Founding Principals Steve Erickson, Arthur Furukawa, and Bob Vizenor, reflecting a period of strong growth and a major milestone of 45 staff on the team.

Kate Vincent was raised in Montana. After completing her undergraduate degree at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC, she went on to obtain a Master of Architecture at the University of Oregon. Kate has spent her 16-year architectural career in Seattle, working on a variety of project types, and most recently leading large scale workplace projects at SABA. Kate is highly regarded as a passionate client advocate, ensuring that their perspective and project goals inform every design conversation. This level of dedication, and her capacity to solve complex problems with large stakeholder groups, make her an essential addition to SABA’s leadership team.

Laura Taylor earned her Master of Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver after studying at mathematics at Seattle University. Her expertise and interests span a broad spectrum of project types. As a natural mediator, listener, and leader, she is passionate about building strong teams, developing good communication on those teams, and maintaining relationships with our clients and industry partners. Her capacity to lend thoughtful feedback incorporating lessons from her 16 years in the industry, propelled by a keen eye for detail, makes Laura an exemplary resource for our clients and team.

Shaun Danielson studied architecture in Chicago at the Illinois Institute of Technology before finding his way to Seattle. Shaun brings 10 years of technically informed design sense to SABA. His broad range of capabilities allows him to nimbly adapt to project requirements, regardless of program. Shaun's enthusiasm and optimism help him see the possibilities that present themselves in projects both large and small across all of SABA’s market sectors. His strong conceptual skills and collaborative workstyle enrich those around him, creating an atmosphere in which the focus is always cultivating a cross-section of the best ideas for our clients.
