The Nature Conservancy

In 2006 the Seattle office of the international non-profit The Nature Conservancy moved into new offices designed by SABA. Nine years later as their lease was coming up TNC once again called SABA. SABA helped TNC assess several potential spaces and eventually designed them into 16,000 SF in a recently renovated 3-story heavy timber building in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. Recognizing new work habits and rising real estate costs, TNC significantly decreased the amount of leased space, creating a need for more meeting facilities and alternative working spaces. The interior intervention was kept to a minimum in order to highlight the exposed building structure and amazing western water views.
