SABA created a 'hospital within a hospital' by converting a dormant nursing wing within an existing hospital into a state-of-the-art 34-bed, 16,235 SF private, provider-based acute geriatric psychiatric hospital in Monroe, Washington. In addition to patient rooms, the facility includes a pharmacy, a courtroom, and an outpatient counseling center. An adjacent outdoor space was enclosed and reconfigured to be used by patients.
